Talk Lock – Screen Lock Utility
Talk lock locks up your screen when you make a call and unlocks when your call is finish. This prevents you from accidentally touching the screen and opening something while your making a call. Talklock adds a much needed feature for your Blackberry Storm and also has a manual unlock by using the special slid unlock button. You can change the background image by changing the talklock image in your phone.

Does anyone know HOW TO change the image once the application has been downloaded to the phone? I have a Storm and am very curious about this. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Place an image called TalkLock-Background.png in /home/user/ in your blackberry storm memory. You’ll probably need to plug your data cable in and transfer this file manually.I love the functionality it offers as I’m always hitting MUTE with my ear
Additional info re: customizing the lock screen…Make your image a 24bit PNG file 360px × 480px (portrait looks best) and avoid putting too much light background near the top quarter, as the text “Call in progress, Number: xxxxxxxxx Screen locked… is superimposed. The lock graphic and the ce//avant logo also appear, as in the picture on the download screen.You MAY (I did) need to reboot the phone before the changes take effect.I already love this app.
This is a great app! I kept switching on the speakerphone or muted the mic… my friend pointed me to this the day after I got my Storm and its worked perfectly since. Thanks Mike R. for the tip about changing the background screen.
This is awesome, nice to see a way not to put people I’m talking too on mute!
I dont think this ap is any good. it locks automatically but when you need to use the keypad, for automated menus etc, it stays locked. impossible to unlock
This is a great app! One slight thing is to be careful when calling your voicemail… the lock activates right before you enter your password! COMPLETELY worth that tiny little hassle!
How do you lock it again after unlocking it? For example when you are listening to voicemails and have to push the prompts?

How can I use this application as my default screen lock? Not just when calls are made, but on the whole phone?

As far the voicemail issue- i use visual vce-ml- dsnt seem to affect it.
